This class is absolutely fantastic! The instructors are fun, energetic and have some funky moves! The music is catchy and makes you lose yourself in the next and the next and the next routine, every time you think that you have nothing left to give!
1 comment for improvement: I have been with Marie since the years of jazzercize opposite the Castries Comprehensive school, so I guess that I am one of the oldies (lol). To facilitate ease of following the movements of the instructor, as the instructor faces the class, we were taught to move on the same side as the instructor-a mirror image. Therefore, we were taught that the class always starts a move on the right side and the instructor, facing the class, always starts on her left side, to create this mirror image. In this way, the class and the instructor move to the right side of the room for moves of that sort and move in unison to the left side for moves of that sort.
On the other hand, while there are 2 zumba instructors and one faces the class, while the other is in the class (to help with the moves), most people, especially those at the front, automatically look to the stage at the instructor facing the class. It is a little confusing when the instructor on the stage goes right, while the class is expected to go left and vice versa and also confusing when the class is using the right arm or leg, while the instructor on the stage is also using her right arm or leg, that is, a non-mirror image of the class and the instructor on the stage.
This may not be confusing to new persons, but for the long-time members, it is a bit of a problem, as we will be expected to unlearn the mirroring what we do with all the other instructors in the other classes.
It would be nice to have consistency in this regard.
Other than that, this class is a MUST! Once you try it a few times, you will get hooked!
